I didnt in all honesty think O' Donovan looked quite as good as others seem to feel. Dont get me wrong, I thought he played quite well and certainly is an improvement on Behan but I wouldnt have said he did any better than Boyd last night yet a lot of people are being a bit critical of Boyd.

I also would only have given Collins a 6 at most. He was all over the place in the first half but improved a bit in the second.

His pace gave us more space though and made Carlisle defend a higher up the pitch. Take the fourth goal, how many times have you seen a Pools player go clean through this season? It was a good run and fine pass as well to put Jones in. His work rate was good and he chased lost causes. He'll get sharper with games I don't think we could have hoped for much more than he did, he made a difference.

Boyd had another good to decent game, he looks good at the moment. I actually thought Collins had a bit of a 'mare' last night, he was mistiming his jumps for headers all night and had plenty of shaky moments. Liddle was miles better.
