Defense use the tactics the management set, bad management + wrong tactics = leaking goals sctatchinghead

I mentioned on a previous thread that I felt Collins and Liddle weren't the best partnership and got shot down.

It's not a coincidence that we keep leaking goals and consistently it's 2 and 3 a game. The fullbacks are fine and the keeper is so your right it's the centre backs. Time to rest Lidds and bring in Clark or Cherel.

We defended very well today they are 16 unbeaten and have 11 in a row at home yet hardly created a thing. We aren't good enough to take our chances the goals return from the forwards and central midfield just isn't good enough.

You also question our mental strength, do the players believe they can get something from a game like today? Because the only time it went to pot today was when we took the lead like we didn’t believe we had the right to be ahead. Do we have a dressing full of winners? We need to be stronger, I'm sick of hard luck stories. That is down to the manager.

I've noticed in a few games recently young Hartley(and I know he's just come back), has cost us heavily by giving the ball away cheaply while on the offensive, he did it again today which lead to one of their goals.

With not being the quickest team we're being cruelly punished on the counter.

Sounded like Haslam did well at left back at Charlton and Bristol Rovers, why didn't we keep him in there? We all know that Hartley is a young lad still learning a new position, wouldn't we be better served with a more experienced head like Haslam on the left of our defence.

What do the people who actually saw him in those 2 away matches think?
