Tony Eccles won easy. He is from Stockton, but lives in West View with their lass (who is a Poolie). So he will do for me! rolf

Unbelievable that the favourite is a 17 year old debutante & is 15/8 in a field of 32.
Excellent seeing him get knocked out in the first round too rolfl
I saw a guy called Davy Richardson play Saturday afternoon,he looked to be on form so hes my choice for the winner.
Shaun Greatbatch (the man who did a 9 dart on dutch telly well before Taylor did it here) could do well too

Hartlepool's Tony Eccles in the quarter-finals after beating Shaun Greatbatch 4-0 last night. Plays Mervyn King in the last eight tomorrow night and if successful, will play either Martin Adams or Ted 'The Count' (I think that's how it's spelt) Hankey in the semis. rolf rolf

If Eccles plays like he did last night though a blind man would stand a good chance of beating him.
