Post subject: Look What Our 'Friend' Done!!!!

I'm reading this book at the moment....'A Fair Cop'....it's about a Policeman who was viciously assaulted whilst performing a routine arrest!!!! confised

The assailant got Community Hours and a Fine....he then got the Policeman prosecuted and the Policeman got Jailed!!!! rage rage

Anyway here's a snippet from the book....(not about the bloke who got him done)....about our 'Friend'....

"One night in January 1997, I was on another night duty. It was Saturday and, as always, we were anticipating a busy night. I didn't expect, however, to arrest this particular person. It was around midnight and I was driving the police car past the Majestyk Nightclub (Leeds) in the centre of the city. I was with my colleague, PC Dave Braddock. There was a long queue of people outside the nightclub, shivering in the freezing temperatures. My attention was then drawn to the other side of the road, to a group of men. They were lively, excitable and loud, but seemingly nothing other than in good spirits on a night out.

Then, without reason, one of the men shouted across towards us. His words were scathing of the police in general and his language was expletive. I was suprised by the blatant nature of his comments. he was a tall, thin man, well dressed and daubed in chunky gold jewelerry. He kept on walking towards us and stood directly in front of the van. He looked in at us and shouted once again, 'You Fecking Pigs'. It was at this point that I recognised him.

The rest of the gang stood nearby. They too, were smartly dressed and high quality clothing brand names were abundant. I recognised some of them aswell. Dave and I looked at each other in amazement. It also seemed apparent to him who these men were. I got out of the van and approached the man, who by now was shouting more abuse at me. His face exuded arrogance as I apporoached. By this time, he was leaning against the police van. Most people in the queue had realised who he was aswell, causing great interest in what was happening. I called for another unit to be nearby just in case the onlookers got involved, for which there was the potential. The man raised a palm and pushed past, swearing at me as he did so. I warned him that he'd be arrested if he carried on. My comments were met with yet more swearing.

I couldn't exercise my discretion any more. Action had to be taken. I took hold of his arm and informed him I was arresting him for Disorderly Conduct and assaulting a police officer. I'd just arrested the Leeds United and ex-England midfielder, Carlton Palmer. He struggled momentarily and several other members of the Leeds United team approached, trying to persuade me to let Palmer go. I recall Rod Wallace approaching me, trying to enter into dialogue, asking me to let him go. I asked him to stand aside as acceding to his request was not an option. He joined Brian Deane, who had kept out of the way for the duration of the incident. I requested a van, which arrived almost instantly. Palmer was placed into it and we tried to disperse the crowd, which was by now about 2 or 3 hundred strong. I took Palmer to the Bridewell. His conduct, if anything, actually worsened. He banged around in the back of the van and his abusive language was appalling. He seemed out of control.

I presented him to the custody sergeant and explained the circumstances leading to the arrest. His detention was authorised and I began the routine task of searching him amid the onslaught of more verbal abuse. His wallet contained several hundred pounds in cash and as we counted it out to document it, he said disdainfully, in his Midlands accent, 'I earn more than you lot put together'. He was probably right. He continued with the affront and was eventually placed in his cell. I think the realisation of what he had done hit him when I closed the door, as he went very quiet.

I was with the Custody Sergeant discussing the next course of action, when I was approached by a colleague who had attended the scene at the Nightclub just prior to me leaving with Palmer. The officer told me that a young lady had approached her and alleged that Carlton Palmer had indecently assaulted her in a bar, just minutes before I had arrested him. It was only by chance that she had then seen me arresting him for the entirely seperate matter. The complainant was happy to give a statement and so I went down to Palmer's cell and informed him that he was also under arrsest on suspicion of indecent assault. He was subsequently interviewed and charged with both offences."

The outcome of all this was that Carlton 'PigUglyKunt' Palmer was fined £500 for disorderly conduct....he was also fined for the indecent assault but in the book it doesn't say how much he was fined for that offence!!!!

I think Brian Honour was right....Nice Bloke eh?!?! rage rage rage

I hope the Kunt dies soon in a fire or a car crash!!!! rage rage rage rage
