In these Baltic conditions you realise just what a superb piece of bedroom equipment they really are. I generated enough heat- lying in the phoetal position last night -to hard boil a couple of eggs ready for me brekkie.

BTW do you lie on your right/left shoulder, back or face down to get off, I'm a right shoulder man me'sell.

I either lay on my belly or on my right shoulder.

unless you are familiar with the work of the stand up comedian stewart lee you probably wont get it.

but yes they do exist. they can be used as either a quilt or a pillow, meaning unless you buy 2 you either sleep in the warm and get a bad neck, or you have a comfy neck but die of cold.

very funny routine when he tells the story.

[x] this morning with richard but not judy was one of the funniest shows ever on tv, featuring stuart lee of course

Yep, quite like Stuart Lee, seen him on Sky a few times, very dead-pan dry, does'nt seem to get on mainstream t.v much though.Must have upset them upstairs.

You're probably right it was mainstream, trouble is I watch everything now through Sky, he can be very political a lot of the time, but do agree with a lot of wot he spouts. BTW I may have spelt Stewart incorrectly, do I lose marks for that?

Actually it's what you lie on that keeps you warmer, not what's on top of you. (waits with baited breath for all the sarcastic replies)

For example laying on a sheepskin blanket with just a sheet on top is wamer than a satin sheet and a quilt. FACT.

What about those rubbery sheets on your bed Bob? Never saw the real purpose of those, like...

To prevent the mattress getting soaked after a heavy session
