It was a bit worrying on Sky football Saturday last week. Paul Merson was watching the Pools game. There was a discussion between Jeff Stelling and Merson about Monkhouse being man of the match which ended with them drawing the complimentary conclusion that he was a half decent player.

It sounded like they were putting him (Monkhouse) in the shop window.
