I have enquired at CAFC about my lad being the Pools mascot for the day with his classmate, who is a season ticket holder, refyellow rage at the Valley as the Charlton mascot. My lad cannot be the Pools mascot because their policy is not to have an away mascot for safety and child protection reasons.

Oh dear oh dear.

what a load of shite from Charlton. Wan-kers.
Our Nicole was Pools mascot at QPR - Phil Parkes gave her a tour of the ground, she had her name on the scoreboard for her birthday, she led the Pools team out on the pitch, the works.

Our Nicole's cousin was mascot for Pools at Brentford for the 4th round FA Cup tie in 2004/05

There is no excuse for this.
