Ipswich can't have that much confidence in ALB. They have just been refused permission to sign an emergency keeper on loan.
They are stuck with ALB so I suppose they have to big him up ( a bit like Turner was doing last season).
Anyway he has gone now so sod him, Ipswich and Keane.

I can't believe they signed him!! It just goes to show how few managers/scouts actually watch players on a regular basis. There's more conmen in football than all the dodgy plumbers, salesmen and stuff that have featured in those undercover watchdog programmes over the years!!!

I always question the point of such interviews, what else is a team mate going to say about a keeper who is going to start for them on Saturday, wouldn't it be refreshing for once if someone was honest and just came out with;

"To be honest I've seen him in training and I'm shitting myself about Saturday, we'll leak six. For fooks sake Jan Budtz used to get his game before him a few months ago and he hasn't even got human fingers, when Keano signed him it dawned on me that the man isn't a full shilling"
