As nobody else is hitting the keyboard here's my view;
An excellent performance by Pools in front of a 650 away followong, making plenty of noise in the 4000 seat away end. Pools well on top in the first half but once again failed to make their domination count with Boydy and browny not really teating the home rearguard enough. Second half an excellent home side stepped up a gear to probably deserve the points some poolies expressed the ludicrous view that Turner had instructed the team to defend in depth and therefore we lost. The truth was we played well in a superb game but the terriers were better. For me Austin, Collins and Liddle were outstanding whilst monkhouse, Jones, Humphreys and Flinders were solid.

I'd agree with that Pete, people moan about people going missing and our midfield but the simple truth was that Huddersfield are as good a side as I've seen for a while who played very well. Sometimes you've got to hold your hands and say you were beaten by a better side.

I was quite impressed with Larkin, it's a shame he got injured. Probably the best I've seen him play.
