I've just watched the Football League show and was about to start a very similar thread!!

He shouldn't be clogging around the fourth division, we missed a trick.

Im only repeating what i was told, might of been poppycock  . The figure he said though would be more than the highest earner at Pools.

PS do we actually pay Borgggson (iceman) or whatever hes called, cause he is gash.

Truth is, he can probably earn more elsewhere, given the fact Pools wage bill is the lowest in league one, the average being around the £800 per week mark i'm told (with one or two exceptions i would imagine)

Dont get me wrong, im not trying to pass myself off as being 'in the know' or owt! I was a guest in the hospitality box thingy at the orient game, and was told by somebody (who really would know) that the annual bill for the playing staff is 1.2 million?

given the houses/motors some of the pools lot own, i think £800 per week is a long way off the mark. if liddle, monkhouse, collins, boydie etc are on anything less than 70k a year i would be amazed.

Well obviously Chip. Power is on 'well over £800 a week' so they must be double that

i doubt very much that power, as someone who was very young and with no league experience, earns £800 a week. in fact i suspect it is probably a lot lower than that.

If he is on anywhere near £800 a week then the world has gone mad.
