Can anyone tell me why he is playing and Ryan Sidebottom isn't?

I reckon it's his ability to swing the ball back to Ponting and trap him LBW. Then get Hussey from around the wicket.

I'd be surprised if Broad plays at the Oval.

Broad has been the most economical of the quickies so far at Headingley as well as picking up two crucial wickets. He also bowled very well in the 2nd innings at Edgbaston plus a good knock. Why single him out?
