Molde 3 Rosenberg 1 (players linked to Pools that is)

Just found this on football rumours. So over to Mr Gaunt investigates

Forgive the copy and paste.

The rumours linking 2 Molde players with Hartlepool are both incorrect as the player they intend to bring in from Molde is goalkeeper
Elias Valderhaug. the fact 2 other Molde players are being linked with Hartlepool is good news for them as they try to keep this signing quiet, but it will happen on Monday or Tuesday next week.

To help him settle in England Hartlepool have also lined up Rosenberg 3rd choice Goalkeeper Espen Johnsen, these two will compete for the number 1 position and join up with the team on their tour of Holland.

These rumours keep growing dont they!

However if i was a keeper moving country, id want to be assured I was going to start as no1 choice mind. Big move to make knowing you and another are fighting it out for the jersey.

And in reply to Tree, Dimi came here as a second choise, a lot of foreign 'keepers do.

i would doubt the 2 foreigners would both be goal keepers, as Turner said they would both significantly improve the squad, now as we can only play 1 keeper at a time......

Good point, plus one wont even be Norweigen.

But 2 keeper's would significantly improve the SQUAD. The important word is squad not team, though I dont think he would sign two foreign keepers. And as said the rumours continue. dont you love the close season.

no, i hate it, i try to enjoy the rumours, but i prefer reading the Official site about brand new signings more.

If I asked them if we were signing another of player of theirs they'd think I'm nuts. But I probably will anyway. I'll go home, have some fish and chips, have a shit and then I'll try and investigate. I'll probably update the Aksel Berget Skjolsvik investigation as well.
