I bet on two goals each for Defoe and Rooney this evening and four assists from Johnson.

Fat lot I know, eh?

I almost bet on the reds overturning a 12 - 7 deficit to win 14 - 12

We would have won it groovy if it wasn't for them pesky kids, or at least you in goal saving every single shot that came your sodding way!!!

We did have a young side out, and the lads worked hard, i like to think i helped spurr them on, even with injuries, they worked hard this week ya narrr.

It was looking a bit grim for you early when the boy went down & had to drag himself to the byline but he showed great determination & loyalty to get up again & do the full 60 minutes.
A credit to your management skills I would say

It would have been a young side, if I hadn't been in it adding 10 years to the average age.

Matty kept himself going in the hope of Jonny2 turning up, he was supposed to be on the way last night. It turns out that he decided to stay in the Pub instead.
