Only home games though, nothing stopping other teams moving games to a friday night.

Still, i'm pleased about no friday home games.

A little disappointed, but if that's what the majority of fans want - then well done to the club for actually listening to us. rolf

The club listening to its supporters on season tickets and night games, the manager taking his new signing to a working man's club for a public question and answer session, whatever next?

What turner said about listening to fans and improving communications looks like he is sticking to his word and is only good for the club

It could mean no Friday night games at all, except for the reasons given on the website (TV/Internationals) because if for example Southend request we play on a Friday night can we just not say NO, the fixture for Saturday, thats when we will play it. Both teams have to agree to a rearranged fixture, dont they, and as the league fixtures are set for a Saturday with 3pm kick off (Midweek fixtures apart). It could well possibly mean no long trip/overnight stays for fans on a Friday night.

would have been nice to just cut them back to maybe one a year, which worked when we startd but there must have been 6 home friday games last year and it just got a pain in the arse in the end.

NO rolfl rolfl rolfl unless season extended to run all year, we would need 46 Saturdays, for league plus more for Cup games. Your stuck with them rolfl rolfl rolfl

Ironic post before I get flak............. or rhetoric whichever the reader decides........................

Pleased by that. Didn't mind going to the match on a Friday but it always made the Saturdays shite especially if we hadn't won. Saturday is the day you should be going to the match really, credit to Pools for listening to the fans.

I said in my post that I didn't mind the Friday games they were some very memorable ones but you can't beat going to the match on a Saturday. The novelty had worn off, you can go down the town on any Friday.

Who is this lass you speak of by the way? She sounds like filth, I normally use a taxi to get into town

I prefer the Friday night games. A curry and a few beers afterwards which left the whole weekend to spend with my kids.

Plus we have a fantastic record on a Friday night.
