I did,Pete Doherty is taking the piss out of the press left right & centre.
His interaction with the crowd was good,he made the gig look totally effortless,they finished with a cover of 'Janie Jones'.There was a barrier & bouncers between the stage & the crowd ,he kept challenging the crowd to get through ,tore a fiver in half & offered half a fiver to the first one on stage.There was a dodgy patch part way through with some stopping & starting,but on the whole a good gig & not the farce that the tabloids would have liked.
Coulda made a feww quid too,people were offering £50 for your tickets outside.

Unfortunately my next gig is 'Keep it Cash' in The Studio friday night & means missing my first home game for 5 seasons

He may like a dabble at a few crazy substances,but theres no way hes the useless junkie that the press make him out to be,Ive always thought he has the press dancing to his tune & last night confirmed it for me.

So they say,I dont believe it myself,I think his drug habits are grossly exaggerated for publicity purposes.

I aint got a problem with people doing a bit of gear or having a bit of this or that - as you well know - but his arrest record speaks for itself - we both know what bagheads are like - he's just a public eye baghead - saying that i saw some vid of his on MTV and it were all right but can't remember the tune so it never made that much of an impression.

i dont believe the hype over his drugs (arrest recorda re different) but also dont believe the hype over his music and persona that its ok to be a baghead
