They weren't natural. They've been filming a remake of Lord of the Flies.

Mutley, there are always some places on the planet than are colder than other places.
That doesn't mean that global warming isn't a fact. It might be called climate change, or anything else you like, but it's happening. Otherwise, how explain the widespread melting of arctic ice, for starters? confised

Anyhow, I stole the conch shells, along with some mussel shells and a joined up pair of razor whatsits, and they are now in my house. :coool:

So, to recap, are ex-semi-exotic creatures now able to live in the North Sea because the temperature there has risen?

Don't believe everything you read in the Grauniad, have you been and measured the ice yourself.

If you want the real truth about global warming, it's all a conspiracy by western imperialist governments who control the media, designed to decrease the power of fossil fuel rich but otherwise third world nations and to justify the massive expansion of the weapons based nuclear power industry.

It is, honest

Climate change, nee Global warming, .... it was once explained to me by a Dutch naval officer that if you compressed all the time of the earths existence into a year, man appeared a few seconds before midnight on New Years Eve, so what caused all the other changes in the worlds climate as man wasn't around for most of them ...? The last ice Age which ended only 15,000 years ago ended when the earths climate warmed up, there were no fossil fuels then and the entire population of this island was only 30,000....... and the likelihood of them having cars is somewhat limited.
I have to agree there's extravagant use of the worlds resources, but suspect this whole green pantomime is a scam to brainwash the kids and provide a giant job creation scheme for all those students the uni's are turning out.... you can push most policies through by using the old 'green' argument and pressing the guilt button, ...and politicians are involved, so end of credibility.
