hereford and cheltenham are down,so for us to go down 3 of these tasks must happen, brighton must take 6 points out of 2 away at bristol rovers and hudds and 1 at home to stockport OR noton must take 6 points from hereford at home, scunny,mk dons and leeds away OR crewe must take 6 points from stockport away and leicester at home OR carlisle must take 6 points from cheltenham away and millwall at home OR swindon must take 2 points from bristol at home and peterboro away.
and not forgetting us to lose our last 2 games.
yeovil will be safe.
id say crewe and brighton will be the other 2 to go down

Just what I was thinking.

And if anyone had seen the projected league table with about 18 minutes to go, you would understand just how close we were to being a relegation favourite. :uhoh:

But boy it change then.

Aye at one point we were sat in 20th and it didnt look good. With hindsight that game was massive compared to the Hereford game. A loss would have been a disaster with Brighton and Northampton both winning.

Good job the lads showed some bottle bbolt

I would say it's Hereford, Chelts, Crewe & Carlisle off to visit the Darlodale league for nest season.
Brighton have hit a bit of form at the right time and yesterdays win for N/ton will give them a boost.

Northampton at home to Herefored this Sat - Hereford have gave up the ghost now so that's 3 points nailed on for Northampton. I see Cheltenham beating Carlisle, so this week should see either Crewe or Carlisle (or both) dropping into the zone I reckon.

That would make my season if Swindon went down a double whammy if Brighton went with them.

Even if we lose our next two games we will still be in league 1 next season.

Where in my post did i say we would go down?

I have always been quietly confident that we would stay up, although i didn't come on here and say as much.

But it would be great to get three points in our last home game of the season (especially against leeds)and mathematically secure our league one status without relying on other results.
