I have been reading the mad crowd website about the lad as never seen him play, why isnt he given a chance he has scored a hat full of goals all be it at res and junior level surely he should be given a run out over foley etc.

I know he is on loan now but has anyone seen him play and is he any good

not good enough by all accounts. And correct me if im wrong but foley had a better goal scoring record than tymon in the kids/reserves

not sure about foleys record but what sort of forward is this lad, brown/boyd type of skill, a porter type player who works his socks off or a big lump of a player like barker/Howard

editted : sorry john posted before i read your reply

I don't have full details on Foley's and Brown's appearances for the youth team. My records are only complete from the 2005/06 season onwards, though I plan to extend that this summer. Brown only had one full season for youth team and scored 28 (+3 for reserves). Not sure how many appearances but it will have been approx a goal a game. He pretty much bypassed the reserve stage altogether, as he got injured in 2005.

I don't think Foley was quite as prolific at youth level but has an impressive reserve team record. 30 goals in his last 55+8 appearances.

Tymon's record on my site is complete. 61 in 60 starts (20 subs) for youth, 20 in 29(15) for reserves, 81 in 89(35) altogether

seems good enough to me i was going to say we should take a chance and throw him on a sub once in a while however we need people with a bit of fight at the moment and dont feel this would help his career at the moment

Agree with your sentiments there Comp about throwing the kid into a relegation battle. In an ideal world it would have been nice to have got to a safer position and then give these kids a few outings to see how they did - otherwise they'll never get a chance.

Has anyone seen much of Marc Ellison this season? When I last went to the reserves he was superb, got stuck in and ran the midfield. Quite a little lad though which could work to his disadvantage.

I thought you'd gone mad for a minute there, then I realised I was thinking about Lee Ellison, then I realised it's me that's mad
