We always go to The Causeway for our pre match pint (s!), and there were a group of lads in there yesterday all wearing footy shirts. We had Newcastle, Arsenal, Manchester United Liverpool!

Might also have something to do with the fact that they're ... pub dwelling, Sky watching, Premiershit following, ...gobshites... The Premiership on the box, it's not the real thing.

I'm going to buy a premiership shirt at the end of the season.

Something like a Barcode shirt overprinted with "Relegation 2008-2009" or an Arsenal shirt with "Premiership also-rans 2008-2009".

It seems to be more and more the case that kids want the shirt Torres wears, or Ronaldo wears - rather than a Liverpool or a Man Utd shirt.

The players are becoming more marketable than the club - Beckham being the prime example of a shirt sales signing.
