Huddersfield players' reactions were disgraceful towards what were good old fashioned challenges. They didn't seem to think that they should be tackled by Pools players. It was very obviously choreographed and rehearsed on the training ground. It wound the crowd up and influenced the match officials, who were pathetic enough to go along with the whole ruse in the sending off of Nardiello.
I really hope they fail in their attempt at promotion, and that they are stuck in this division for the next ten years.

Just seen the Nardiello challenge, seemed hard but fair, the ball was there to be won. Was Carlton Cole's challenge worse? I think so.

You want and need your strikers going in for balls like that, if nardiello didn't chase it we'd call him a soft get!

look the keeper was brave to go down, but if he does go to ground with his full body on the deck of course he is going to come into contact with an oncoming forward. there was nothing malicious about the challenge.

i defended carlton cole on here after the west ham game against those who said he should have had a red and will do the same with nardiello. your forwards have to challenge for loose balls in the box.

fair enough if the keeper already had the ball and he still went in, but at the point of contact he didnt.

the ref was a tosser throughout reacting to the huddersfield players and their fans.

like parmo says lee clark the horrible little geordie tw@t has obviously got his players to act like these wankers in the premiership that surround refs trying to get players sent off.

as for huddersfields number 6, i hope his wife gets bucked by ritchie jones and his house burns down.

but not before jones escapes, obviously
