Aren't referees not supposed to award something if they dont see it ? OK so he see hand ball, from his angle he cant tell if its in the box so whatt do you do check with your linesman who's better placed to see if he indicates if it a pen or not

so what do you do - ok give the handball but not a pen - if you arent sure

I haven't even seen the incident yet. For my view in the town end it looked outside the area. I had a much worser view than the referee but according to everyone who saw it on the box then it defitnley wasn't a penalty thus the referee was wrong and I was right despite having a much worser view. Hmmmmmmmm

It was a tad outside the box 6 feet the tosser.

what was disappointing was that not one player challenged the referee's decision. I know he probably wouldn't have changed his mind but he would have at least spoken to the lino

Recorded the game and watched the incident 5 times. It wasn't a penalty on any of the replays I've seen
Nelson made contact in the air about 4ft from the box and even when he landed was only about 6" inside.
Cole should have been sent off twice
