Deadline for Monkey Bizz - Sunday 25th Jan

Issue 93 of the Bizz is out on Saturday 7th February, when we play Walsall at home. And it will STILL be only a quid!

The deadline for contributions to this issue is midnight on Sunday 25th January (the day after the 'Ammers game). All the usual stuff required please - opinions, articles, pics, cartoons, jokes, poems, reader's wives photos etc.

a bit random i know but when is the 100th issue due to be out and is there anythign special being done for it?

Issue 100 is on schedule to be the first issue of the 2010/11 season.

In order to celebrate, I'm hoping to round up a load of yesteryear's 'Saturday Stunners', and have them parade from the Mail offices to the Vic, wearing nothing but thongs and wet Monkey Business t-shirts.

There will be a flyover from the Red Arrows, and Jeff Stelling will ceremonially replace the portrait of Alan Shearer with one of Lawrence, before turning to the assembled media and bellowing 'Only a pound, yer Monkey Business!'.

This will signal a Harry Potter-esque scramble for the 100th issue, which will sell out in a record time of 20 minutes.

This all depends on me being editor at the time like, if we have another bairn before then I reckon I'll have to pass it onto someone else. It's difficult enough with one, and I can't imagine having any time to do it with two.
