Yeah I was there with me dad in front of the old main stnad - we nearly didnt go as we though nah there wont be many Poolies turning out - how wrong can you be - walking to the ground from near the police station it was wave after wave of Poolies and on all sides of the ground it was Poolie chants all the way the noise when the winner went in was unbelieveable - happy days

He's dead right as well, he set Willie's goal up at Feethams that night, Warnock was nowhere near.

Can anyone else remember that night in April 72?? I was only 8 and it was about my second or third away match (think I'd been to Barrow and maybe York before that), Pools fans in all four ends of the Flea-pit, won 2-1 to stay up??
