Len Ashurst was the manager when i and others got the big stones from the Queens Rink and help build the rink end wall.
He is a gentleman.

Hey Mouldy you must have worked with Tommy Seedhouse and company. I helped to put in the mill house and rink end terraces from 1973 until 1983. Spooky

Yes Mr Yapper put some hard graft in and the rink end wall is still there and when i look at it my back hurts still. rolfl

I know the feeling about backs very well. The joy of those times working in the closed season terrific.
