Don't know if this is a wind up but i just got a text from a mate who works for NTL and he reckons they are gonna blast a signal down the cable tonight in order to destroy boxes.He says to disconnect till further notice.Anyone else heard anything?

By the way mine is on thanks to the last set of codes from Acro :wink:

I've heard this from a few people too. Probably best to turn it off just incase at the moment.

Trust me, its a wind up.

What can they do to destroy boxes? There is no current comes down the cable and even if there were both the Virgin boxes and dodgy boxes are a collection of circuit boards. Anything they try to do to dodgies would have the same effect on the genuine boxes.

I'm certainly not unplugging mine. It's disinformation more than likely spread by VM.
