the year when there was a re-draw spot back into the fa cup as man u were on club cup champs, we got knocked out and on way home stopped off at services on the bus and who got drawn back in Darlo, a crap end to an even crappier day

Hereford wasn't it?

It was on a Sunday as it was live on SKY and we were absolutely shocking. I remember we stopped over at a mates in Sheffield on the Saturday so the weekend wasn't all bad. The Loids got Aston Villa at Villa Park in the next round even though they'd already been knocked out banghead

Yeah cos I remember getting drawn away to Gillingham and thank God an even worse side than Darlo even beat them ! :grin:

Man United went off to Brazil, Darlo went out of the 2nd Round, won the Lucky Losers draw and got drawn away to Gills where they beat them.
