I SAW MONKHOUSE LEAVING THE GROUND AT 4 PM ON SATURDAY SO MUST OF LEFT AS SOON AS HE GOT TAKEN OFF. I LATER HEARD THAT THERE WAS A BIG BUST UP WITH THE MANAGER AND MONKHOUSE AT HALF TIME. PRESUME THIS IS REGARDING HIM BEING TAKEN OFF YET AGAIN. U HAVE TO FEEL SORRY FOR THE LAD, HE SEEMS TO GET TAKEN OFF WEEK AFTER WEEK, THIS IS A PLAYER WHO HAS ALWAYS DONE WELL FOR US SINCE HE HAS JOINED THE CLUB.

I SYMPATHISE WITH MONKHOUSE OVER THIS, HOW IS A PLAYER MEANT TO REGAIN HIS CONFIDENCE AND START PLAYING TO HIS FULL POTENTIAL WHEN HE GETS TAKEN OFF EACH WEEK NO MATTER HOW HE IS PLAYING! I THINK MONKHOUSE IS SOMETIMES MADE A BIT OF A SCAPEGOAT WHEN WE ARE NOT PERFORMING WHICH I HAVE TO SAY IS POOR MAN MANAGEMENT BY WILSON.

ONE FURTHER POINT, ANOTHER POOR DISAPPOINTING PERFORMACE DEFENSIVELY BEING 2.0 DOWN AGAIN AT HALF TIME! IT WOULD BE NICE FOR US TO GO AHEAD FOR ONCE AND NOT HAVE TO FIGHT AN UP HILL BATTLE EVERY WEEK.

How can you blame the defence, didn't you see we had a central defender wrongly sent off after 27 minutes with the score at 0-0

Thank you. at least some people know whats going on in our club. i can 99% say there was a bust between monky and wilson. and sopmeone else has heard it from 2 people, surely that shows i am not lying. seems some people dont want to believe the truth and try and cover it all up. this club seems to be in a bit of turmoil at the minute and we have to accept that.

I heard Monkhouse put his boots in the bin

Hit Wilson with a kipper.

Was wrecked in chicago rock.

He got on the bus that drives itself.

Bollocks

Complete unadulterated bollocks

Actually no hang on a minute...... no, it's bollocks.

We have a fairly thin squad this year. Our first eleven virtually picks itself at the moment. Of the substitutes, most people would agree that Matty Robson has been the most effective this season. He is in direct competition with Andy Monkhouse for a shirt. Despite this, Monkhouse has started the last TWENTY EIGHT league games. He has played the full 90 minutes in 15 of them, and has played at least 70 minutes in 25 of them. He has absolutely nothing to be unhappy about. I don't want to believe there is any truth in the rumour that he has stormed off at halftime. If there IS any truth in it then he can fook right off, and I'm speaking as a fan.

Caps Lock is a little button three up on the left hand side of the key board that lets you type in capitals if switched on and lower case if switched off. I would advise it would be better for all concerned if it was not confused with a BELL END,

sorry to add fuel to the fire confised but monkhouse did leave at half-time, with his bag over his shoulder with a face like a wet weekend at tree's house.

i was on my way back from the bog and he flounced past me without so much as a 'hello, how you doing big feller ?'.

and seeing as how i missed our goal, i have since calculated that he was just settling himself into his car and reaching for the cassette deck for something soothing , when he'll have heard the roar of the crowd as the goal went in.

i for one hope he felt like a complete c$*t, the c$*t.

Don't we want monkhouse to be annoyed at getting taken off?

At least it shows a bit of passion.

I'm glad he was pished off at being taken off, thats what we want.

In the heat of the moment things get said, it happens during football at every level, i've often had bickerings with my gaffer on a sunday morning over decisions, but it's all in the heat of the game and it's forgotten about in the pub after.

God people just love a bit of controversy.

It's cos im a mature athlete who is the ideal professional, clearly monkhouse needs to come down to greys on a sunday morning and watch me.

He should have came to seaton yesterday and watch my man of the match performance, marshalling the back four from left back, i'm easy better than humphreys.

I have a feeling something did kick off at half time on Saturday as all the backroom were scattered from the dressing room sctatchinghead

Mind not that it's a big thing, we were 2-0 at home you'd expect words to be exchanged, that's just football.

No he is allowed by the looks of it. At least hufc4eva actually debates his point as well as giving abuse, unlike OO who just posts abuse with nothing constructive to say. Board is turning into Rivals. Fast.

Think the problem is that HUFC4EVA gets a warning for a "bell end" comment yet OO posts messages simply saying "Tree your a complete fucking arsehole" etc and nothing is said to him?

keep on doing it and you'll end up banned.

so monkhouse got the hook at half time. he had his bag over his shoulder and stormed out of the ground. how do you know if he didnt take his bag to the car, go back into the game after having 10 -15 minutes to cool off and go straight to the bar after the final whistle?

At the end of the day wilson dragged him, meaning he had no more input on the game. what would you do? sit in the dressing room until everyone else went in the shower at 5 bells? fair play to him if he did lose it, like people say it shows passion for this club, and him as a player. he will do all he can now to put things right. As for monkey being made a scapegoat... are we not doing that now by saying if he did lose the plot he can fcuk off? what did we all say when ben clark lost it and apparently had a go back at scotty? we all said he was a hero for doing so!!! whats the difference here?

the vital word above is apparently. it is only Apparently monkhouse left the ground at half time and hear say travelling faster than light. until something is announced officially then i will believe it. in the mean time dont post garbage unless you have facts.

Sounds like a story I was reading recently where one character was so annoyed with another that he couldn't think of a strong enough insult to shout at him.
" You.......YOU.......", he kept saying, getting more and more angry, until he finally gave in and yelled, "You PERSON!!"

no, not 'apparently left the ground'. he left the ground with his bag over his shoulder and passed no more than three yards away from me. does it show passion for the club ? my OPINION is that it shows he didn't think he should have been given the hook, and he's fooked off. might it not have been a better idea to go and get changed and then watch the rest of the game to support his fellow players in what was an almost impossible task ? his attitude will always be in question if he leaves the gound with 45 minutes to go. the ben clark parallel is impossible to make until someone comes out with a definitive version of events.

Monkhouse has the most sunken in eyeballs that I have ever seen on a human being. Like pissholes in the snow.

He looks like a skull. He looks like a mole.

Why do you have so many ugly players?

Monkhouse has just began to pull his weight after matty has turned in some magical performances off the bench.
Monkhouse doesn't run at defenders like he used to, and doesn't get stuck in enough. I hope matty gets his place to be honest. Thought wilson gave him enough chances when he kept putting him in the starting XI.

Why would I look in the mirror and think I was looking at Andy Monkhouse?

Only Poolies could have a low enough IQ to pull that one off. Or to hang a monkey. Or to vote a bloke in a monkey suit as mayor because he promised free bananas for the kids.

no it's not. i saw him walk out of the ground at a fair old lick with a face like fookin thunder. i have no agenda, and do not spread gossip. i actually rate monkhouse (i hated him when he played for swindle and was pleased we got the horrible narky get). don't think he's quite doing it at the moment, but i'm sure he will do again soon.

regardless, IF he has walked out in a strop at being hooked, why should i be grateful that he's apparently showing 'spirit' ?

I really hope Robson has turned the corner but how many chances has he had to start games and failed miserably. He will always be an impact player only IMO. Hope he proves me wrong.
