Serious question here, you seem to be relying a lot on loan signings. What happens in January when they get snapped up by teams who actually have the money to buy them?

I seem to recall you were flying last year . . . and blew it. Don't set yourself up for a fall - again. Can you sustain success on the back of such small gates?

Don't know the in's and out's of their team but they went down to 10 men earlier than us and won the game. Mind you, should they go up and thats a still a very big if, they'll find out the huge gulf between divs 3 & 4. MK and Peterborough have spent a fortune, Hereford haven't.

Look at the difference, Hereford are essentially the same team as got promoted (without a few loanees).

Oba - i was trying to find an old league table from last year but was a bit more interested in my balti - but they were 2nd at the end of february -

Once Penney fucks off somewhere who'll give him permanant signings and not loan loan loan loan loan loan loan loan loan loan etc they'll drop down and it will be nice to watch 8. Darlington again

catchy song as well

There will also have been a fair few more Lincoln fans at Darlo than MK followers at Pools.

477 Lincoln fans by all accounts compared to 260 from MK.

What the phuq has Boro not playing got to do with it?

If them not playing has increased our gate then it should have increased your gate too, what with Hartlepool being closer to Borer than Darlo is!

Think muppet, think!

No I don't know it. I don't even know any Borer fans that support Darlo, other than occasional patronising passers through our message board from Borer mentioning they might take in a game some time.

Darlo wont blow it , unlike us. They have a good team albeit in a p*s* poor division. 3 of their side would walk into our team .White,Foster,Burgemeir. Darlo on course for their 3rd title. We still waiting for our first.

Get some help Ronnie, Burgermiester walk into our team???? Did you see the 'Loids match against Bradfud on tele the other week??? He wouldn't get a game for my nephews under 6 team, he is fucking gash And as for winning the 4th division title, well big fooking deal, cold comfort for nearly two decades in the basement

Winning the 4th division really counts for nowt

You don't get a massive wedge of cash, you don't get into Europe

Darlow won it nearly twenty years ago, as their fans keep reminding us, but it doesn't really make up for TWO decades playing at the lowest professional league in England, does it???

I don't even think Hull won the 4th Division on the way up to the Premiersh1t...

Calm down lads , I havent seen Ronaldo play ( the real one not me) but that doesnt say he wouldnt get into pools side. As for Darlo bon tv , that doesnt mean a thing. Burgemeir is a consistent performer and an international player who could probably play in the championship. Fair play to Darlo for pulling this off. We couldnt with our one man scouting operation that is an absolute joke.

OK so they have struggled in the last 20 years while we have been winning titles and trophies galore since 1999.

The history books will always show Darlo have been to Wembley twice, and have won the title twice, and there greatest moment was beating the mighty Chelsea 4-1 when ours is a 3-4 defeat to the mighty Man U.

I want to see us win something before I die, anyone else who doesnt must be very sad indeed.

Mid table mediocrity is not for me. With the second best is ok attitude of most of our fans no wonder we have won nowt.

He is fooking shite, seeing him once is enough, if he gets signed by a championship club, I'll eat shite with the flies.......

And Darlows scout was a 14 year old kid

Mind Tommy Miller Snr is pish like.....

James Brown
Andy Monkhouse
Micky Nelson
Effion Williams

Are just some of the players who he has 'scouted' and they are crap!

When I watched the loids on telly against Bradford the one player that stood out for them as having a bit about him was the centre forward Hatch. Apart from him there was only the right back (Austin?) who looked like he could do a good job at our level. That Burgerwhatever looked like he had a bit of skill and could knock in a canny dead ball but was just way too slow.

Here are a few more ''Loid 'facts' to chew on, seen as you appreciate them so

They have played have been relegated to the 'coats for goalposts' league
They have been in administration
They struggle to get crowds over 3000
They haven't been promoted for nearly twenty years

But if beating Chelsea nearly fifty years ago is a trade off for all the above, well fair play to you and them!

After that Bradford game the Loids were crowing about Burgmeier and I wasn't particularly impressed with him as a winger in open play. He didn't seem to have any pace or much skill just fantastic delivery from set pieces, which they've used to good effect.

Ronaldo, I've thought this for a while but you're a Loid!! If you aren't you're a very strange character as you've said more positive things about Darlo in that post than you ever have about Pools sctatchinghead

Our current team would be good enough to stay in L1.

Obviously our strikeforce of Foran and Hatch is loans but I reckon we'll sign them both in January. So yeah, we could hold our own.

Hereford lost their loan players, I don't see us losing ours other than Clarke who is currently injured anyway.

MK Dons, Peterborough and Stockport's teams are virtually the same as last seasons.

Your team was virtually the same after promotion as the team that went up.
