I have this currently stored on my laptop but whenever I try to use it it always stops about halfway through the scan, what is the next best anti spyware software to have instead

Why does the scan stop 1/2 way through? Does it just freeze?

AVG Also offer an Anti Spyware Scanner, But thats included in the Virus Scanner aswell

Yeah it just stops, the objects scanned number just stops, I have left it for up to half an hour and it still hasn't progressed further it is always around the same point as well

Is it finding things before it stops if so then its something thats resident in the memory so adaware cant deal with it. Just let it run for a shorter time then stop it and clean anything its found
