The best thing about going to York tonight was

I came home with two signed copies of The Life Of Brian Honour hot off the press.

Got home put me specs straight on and thumbed through it as you do.Stopped at THE Carlton Palmer incident (we all know the game) also read the chapter of THE Darlow incident(again we all know the game).I tell you I had a tear in my eye after reading this account and how it affected Brian and his family (a well known Bunkerite gets a good mention).

Looking forward to reading the book properly about my favourite POOLY. clappp

Oh by the way as for the game,the two pints of theakstons I had before the game was not enough. As her indoors drove home I reflected on the game and counted it as a good work out for Aug 9th as Danny will back me up with his report. :shock:

I got mine too, straight after the game, looking forward to reading it soon, just started reading a tom clancy(executive orders) so might be a while before i get around to it.
