I am trying to sort a syndicate out for a weekly predictor of the football results. I am doing it to generate a small amount of cash for the junior side I am helping run (Under 8 and 9). I was thinking this predictor each week at £1 per entry. Scored in the following:

3points for exact result
1 Point for correct score (eg Predict Pools to win 3-1 but actually win 2-1)
1 Point for void game

30% goes to kids fund 70% paid out

from the 70%, 50% is paid out each week with the highest scores with the remaining 20% going to a JACKPOT FUND.

There will be 12 predictions (Max 36 Points) all premishite games and Pools and Darlo. To qualify for the jackpot you must score 30 POints.

Does anyone already play these sort of predictors and if so am i doing that right? If not what is the correct solution?

I run one of these at work, omly difference is that its ran over a month and all gets paid out. be careful with things like this when other organisations are involved, i'm almost certain that 75% has to be paid out by law (but if the gaming commision don't know it won't hurt them).

Generally quite popular at work, did one for the euro's and charged £5 for all the group games and paid out nearly £200.

Techniclly 70% is getting paid out. 50% is paid out weekly with 20% rolling over to a jackpot. If it is the law to pay 75% then i will do just that HAHAH

BUT all teams who sell them receive 50% of the money they sell

We have a number of teams, not just football involved, and it seems to suit them, as they dont need to actually format and mark the forecasts.
