Very nice ta, a bit of both but mostly the latter.

In summary;

Lyon ain't what it used to be.
Dijon is quiet.
Paris is still a toilet.
Amiens reminded me why I liked the place so much.

But most of all I learned that when in the South of France, always put sun block on before driving a soft top car with the roof down.

I went to Paris for a day-trip with my Dad as a reward for my GCSE results - mind you definitely can not do Paris within a day. Did the obvious things Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Paris St Germain's Club Shop overlooking the Arc de Triomphe.

We did a boat cruise down the Seine and got our picture taken by a photographer.

Were you able to understand the peoplee in the South - I know they talk faster than the Ch'tis in the North !!!!!!!

I will have to go back to Paris some time, but for a couple of days this time.

I'm able to understand about half of whats said to me, I can usually get the gist. I never noticed that much of a difference, I guess I'm not yet good enough to differentiate between accents.

I suppose there's not that much regional difference between how they say, 'can you take that baby lotion off the dining table, it's stripping the varnish,' and 'stop twitching about like a Latino twat, you're making everyone dizzy' in Paris or the south eh?? :roll:
