just seen the last few seconds of an advert tonight, it was something like 5p off a litre of petrol, can anyone confirm this as i didnt see the whole advert, or do u have to spend so much in store first?

Same story at Sainsburys, spend over £50 and get 5p off per litre.

On an average 60 litre tankfull thats £3 off. Not to be sniffed at for nowt.

I can save more than the petrol saving by going elsewhere... it always seems they're trumpeting about how much cheaper they are than everyone else, however the things we buy in our house always seem to cost us more in there - always feel like we've either spent less or come out with more for the money at a certain big yellow place....
