Yours truly took part in this morning's Beamish 10k run, that includes racing against one of the trams around
the circuit of the museum. They are deceivingly quite fast and sadly I was unable to beat it (only four of the top lads did)
however I did manage to complete the difficult hilly course that goes off into Beamish woods following two laps of the
museum, in a time of 43:17 in 27th position from about 200 runners.
