Yours truly helped build the wall in front of the rink end with big bricks from the old Queens Rink that was getting demolished.
Len Ashurst was the manager and what a nice bloke he was bought us pattie and chips for our dinner out of his own pocket.

Frodraff once got hurled off the balcony in the Queens Rink if I remember right so if any of them bricks had skin attached to them he might want to claim it back.

No it wasn't off the balcony it was just a good kicking on the balcony. A totally unprovoked attack but understandable as it was the night that Lulu was on causing aggresive reactions amongst music lovers. I ended up in The General Hospital having stitches in me head and the feller who did the kicking ended up in Jail.

I hope the bricks weren't from around the back of the Rink. Bearing in mind what went on round there you wouldn't want to handle those without your Marigolds on
