Everyone knows what happened on Friday preventing me from buying season tickets & I was fuming over it & posted on here.
I think its only fair that I let people know what happened since.

As soon as the staff at Pools found out about this they contacted people on the Bunker to ask for contact details for me.
On Saturday evening a member of the staff rang me to tell me that he would be looking into things first thing Monday morning.
This morning He rang to tell me that everything was sorted & if I go down to the ticket office I will be able to get the tickets with my £40 discount and my 'Buddy' at £100 along with our childrens tickets too.
The Pools member of staff also apologised for my inconvenience.
Today I went along to the ticket office & bought the tickets without any problem.

As much as I was fuming on Friday & I still think that it was disgraceful that I wasnt able to buy my ticket once Pools were aware of the situation they acted promptly & resolved it as soon as was humanly possible so it is a case of
Well done Pools & Cheers from the Groovy clan clappp

Did they compensate you for your time and additional travel expenses?

What ID did they ask for , in the case of your 'friends', Groovy? Is it still a utility bill?

Your friend has to fill a form in, Grabec. If that friend is already on the data base you don't need further ID, otherwise they require the usual identification that is required for each category, ie adult is utility bill. You then take the form in with your own application and the job is done.
If you are travelling from afar, best ring the club and inform them what you are doing just in case.
Also if you pay with cash or debit card they will hand you the season tickets there and then. A cheque requires clearing before they will part with the tickets.
You also get a centenary wallet to house each ticket. Nothing flash you understand.
