After all the delays getting to Chester, it was a poor game by both sides.

All i can say at 1-0 we were comfortable without doing a lot even with the harsh sending off.

We should have held out until half time but Bullock failed to put a tackle in to stop the cross which lead to Chester`s goal.

Brackstone coming on for Matty also changed the game because Brackstone was awful he added nothing of note for 75 minutes.

We needed to defend higher up the pitch instead of letting Chester control
the flow of the game in the second half.

Yes we only had ten men and the ref was crap but we need to grind out results at places like Chester.

I'm resigned to the fact that this bunch of players can't produce the goods to get into the play-off places. January transfer signings will be pivotal as to our capabilities and ambitions for the rest of the season. The daft thing is, I think we are only 5 points from the play offs. If we are still something like 5-8 points adrift and we can get in some quality in the required positions(which there's no point going into because we all know), then I would be confident of a good second half of the season.
Right now though, there are a few players at the club who are REALLY pi$$ing me off.
