Anybody who classes pot, smack and crack as all being "drugs" and therefore as bad as each other hasn't the foggiest idea what they are on about.

I've not had a joint for years now, but it really is harmless. I agree that it should be legalised (and therefore taxed) rather than criminalised.

I hope Brown's good eye falls out.

I've just driven down Fluin Lane and there was a feller sat in a wheelchair on the corner of St Hilda's Drive smoking a spliff about a yard long. Seemed happy enough like, the sun was out, he was chatting to passing schoolkids and taking big puffs on his three skinner. Obviously medicinal.

OK its not smack or crack but to claim that its harmless is just daft.
The big problem with dope these days is that loads of people are growing their own,which is done under artificial light with chemically enhanced feed etc so the skunk these days vegetates the brain rather than giving you the high that good quality dope would.

For the record I gave up the ganja quite a while ago,but have a lot of friends who still smoke so I do have plenty first and second hand knowledge and experience.

Had a joint last week. it was huge, till it came out of the oven and had shrunk to fook all, now that was criminal .......we'll have mince this week.

But what difference will it make? The police have said that they disagree with the reclassification so they aren't going to enforce it and in any case the prisons are full (do we really want people in prison for possessing cannabis?).

I'm led to believe all that re-classification does is raise the maximum sentence for possession from 2 years to 5 years. How many people do you hear of given the maximum sentence for cannabis possession? It's utter stupidity. Those who smoke the stuff (I do occasionally) aren't going to give it up. It really is a paper tiger.

If it's so cuddly, fluffy and harmless, why would anyone use it....?

I was referring to the re-classification as a paper tiger, sorry for the ambiguity. The whole thing is posturing, nothing more.

The re classification is pointless,the anti cannibas groups will shout a bit,the legalise cannabis groups will shout a bit & 90% of dope smokers will take no notice & carry on as before.

As I stated earlier cannabis is not the most dangerous drug around & in many ways is less harmful than alcohol or tobacco,but to say that it is totally harmless is every bit as foolish as claimig that its class A dangerous.

One warning that should be given though is if youre gonna smoke hash learn to skin up properly coz those hot rocks dont half burn !
