It's funny though how Littlejohn usually gets the most applause from the audience and support from the Texts on Pg.155 like!!!! :grin:

As a former Squadron commander of the SBS, Paddy Ashdown is anything but weak as piss.

For those who don't know, the SBS is much like the SAS only they don't fuck up as often.

I don't like Polly Toynbee but she did have a point, that when the issue is about people dying of starvation, Littlejohn's obsession is with how much it costs to fuel his car

And in some of those countries where there are people starving, they DO have wealth and food, they just dont distribute it.

I suppose thats our fault as well.

I sense this is leading to another debate on global warming, or perhaps I'm just naturally suspicious.... :laugh:

What I think is, if you're going to have a debate about what the right thing to do is in world matters, then personal issues like wanting to maintain your own lifestyle when others are starving, are misplaced. That doesn't mean I have a theory about how wealth is going to be re-distributed over-night

I agree it's bloody annoying to be taxed to the hilt and then see the money being spent on things that do no-body any good.

I got really annoyed when I saw the government was giving millions in development funding to India, .... whoa, they're buying up British companies like Corus, Jaguar, Land Rover and Tetleys and they've even developed an atomic bomb. Might I suggest they spend some of that money improving the living standards of their own people.
