Wots bg news??

I've been contacted about a job there. Was wondering what it was like. It's always better to hear from someone with "first hand experience" especially as you seem pretty immersed in the culture rather than the usual ex-pat Airport-hotel-bar-airport.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Well Yantai is right on the south end of Bohai Bay and is a bit of an outpost. However you can get ferries to Beijing and Dalian from there and Dalian is reputed to be the most beautiful city in China.

Have a gleg at this: http://www.yantai-life.com/

Once you get used to the scale and pace of life here I'd recommend it. Lack of language is a bit of a bugger at first but once you can learn a bit it's easier.

I shall have you know, Grembles, you ruffian, that I am not from the Manor I'm a Fens kind of cove.

Oh aye, it's only about 26 hours on the train to Yentai, or a couple of hours flight......I'm sure there'd be somewhere halfway we can watch Pools in the play off final if you sign up before June 1st.

In my day it were all fields then.......

No really it was. My first paper round was all up behind the Mowbray and it was all a building site. Now it almost goes to Newton Bewlay.

Anyway, shurrup Grandad, we're showing our age.....

I can understand that.

That Kiera Knightly said the same thing until I met her in the bogs in the Millhouse on a match day. Shredded me new home shirt and bit through me programme she did, the dirty mare. I almost missed the pre-match cavalcade of Robbie Williams, Orbital and 2 Unlimited and Codyakker and Nobby with their pie/ketchup competition. Made it to the Town End by seconds.  stpid
