Help required regarding travelling to London

Wanting to travel to London for a weekend sometime, am trying to find a cheap flight or train ticket from a safe, reliable website. Can anyone help me out?

type in details on http://www.thetrainline.com and you'll be able to find any cheap tickets going on there. Flights always seem to end up pricey by the time you've added on all the taxes etc. You can get two singles for London and back for around £15 each way if you get in early enough (i.e. before the limited number of cheap tickets are sold)

Well there don't seem to be any tickets going cheap on there for the dates I'm after, anybody else got any ideas?
