........no reasoning with people like that. I've just read "The Rise and Fall of Johnny Adair and C Company" - farking hell man what kind of a way of life is that all about? No matter how $hite life might seem here sometimes, I can't even contemplate how anybody can live in a place like that where life is so cheap. A truly shocking book if anyone hasn't read it.

The blokes reputation in Ireland was astounding. Nobody messed with the bloke if they could avoid it, he has an awful lot of headstones credited to him but never proven. Even PIRA were extremely wary of him but his real battles were internally within the other 'loyalist' paramilitaries - particularly a UDA leader called Grego. That said the only thing mad dog was loyal to was his wallet.

Lives Blackburn / Bolton way now if I remember rightly.
