technical nelp needed

been trying to wire a v box up to my bedroom for the last 4 hours, bought a 4 way splitter and wired it all up, the 1 downstairs and the broadband is ok but no joy with the 1 in bedroom ! any ideas please anyone banghead

got 2 tv boxs what you can get all the films and footy on if you no what i mean, wired the new 1 up and cant get a signal to it but the other 1 works ok, cant get me head round it

are you talking a starview type box
if so is the splitter a 1 in and 3/4 out type if so have you got the feed in the correct connection and all the outlets in the correct outlets if so try swapping one of the working leads into the 1 you have feeding the 1 not working if you swap and the not working 1 still doesnt work then it sounds like your lead

so when you swapped the lead did you get anything at all and did your other lead still work

just get the same thing all the time sorry to interupt your viewing, even tried bringing box from downstairs up and just the same
