Christmas 1976, Oman. Approx. 10AM, Christmas Day, in search of alcohol, found somebody who had Cherry Brandy, Brandy, Vodka, and Gin in his room. A small number of us, can't remember how many, finished off the 4 bottles. Then made our way to the mess for Christmas Lunch, and then down to the beach, to lie in the sun for the rest of the day. Oh the simple joys of service life.
