Well, I hope there aren't many Mutleys cos duck's a bit on the sparse side. Tasty, tho but.

Traditional turkey for us, the wifes family are coming and they don't eat turkey so we are doing a bit of beef as well

No it's not...you just put it into the oven and then take it out several hours later confised

Oh well, I ignore those bits....I've always had a tendency to over-simplify where cooking is concerned

Goose! Never had it before but our lass saw something on telly about them and said they look ellish. The best bit is that her sister is taking care of all the cooking, leaving me free to sit and drink watching telly!

well if they dont come and fill the machine on christmas morning i expect all that will be left will be salt and shake and prawn cocktail and there comes a point where you have to draw a line in the sand.

what i should do really is buy some tomorrow and ferrett them away somewhere like what hibernating creatures do.

Well, anyway, I may have had a re-think....compared with what Mr Kev will be eating, crisps possibly aren't a bad option

I've got it the other way round, the full mob. In total there'll be 8 adults and 10 kids and I'm doing all the cooking!!!

Come to think of it I'd better get planning how many veg I'm going to make.

Mash - about 3 pan loads
2 stone of sprouts.
136 southern puddings (Yorkshire is down south)
40 - 50 roast taties
gone to get a calculator......................

Better forget the leg of pork and just get a pig.

They're better than just ellish; they're the turkey's giblets!
Here's a tip. A decent size goose can shed a litre or more of grease when being cooked. If you let it all get away the meat will be dry as fook so careful not to overcook.
Keep what grease does come out and use it for cooking afterwards; that's ellisher than ell itself.

Fookin ell I'm ungry now. I think I'll nip to the butchers for a butchers at his grease - er - geese.
