I think it is sick that he was going under the name of a baby who died 50 years ago. Thats how he got a passport and that.

Yeah cos that baby that died 50 years ago was the only John Jones that was born over the last 50 years in the UK.

Or maybe he picked the first surname that came into his head, something simple, like Jones maybe?

A trick the Congo mercenaries used in the 60's and was also used in 'Day of the Jackal'. I thought they were supposed to have losed that loophole.

I don't think he had the sense to think of some master conspiracy and trace people that died over 50 years ago and nick there identity.

Firstly, if that was the case, wouldn't he have not chosen the name John? Or even Jones?

It's obvious from all of this they aint been smart about it all, the photo on the net proves that, the fact he walked into a cop shop proves that.

That story is possibly the most far fetched I have ever seen.

They should keep that there as a reminder of when all the world's journalists flocked to Hartlepool.

The new name didn't take too long to create - I thought of that within the first three days of the story going nationwide.

I was going to do a banner for the Yeovil game or even wear a Panama hat, but this is way, way better !
