I guess you didn't go to the Commonwealth games in Manchester in 2002. It was a great games and if Glasgow can emulate that experience then it too will be a memorable games. Good luck to em I say.

But what's the point in them clarting about running around in circles and chucking stuff about when at the end of the day the one with the best drugs wins?

And there's no drugs in football  I guess there won't be until the authorities adopt as strict a code as Athletics.

Drugs are great though. I love em me.

The commonwealth games though.........now that IS a pointless event.

So......a brit wins the mens 400m. WOW.

Its highly likely that non of the worlds top 20 400m runners will have been there.

And that will apply to nearly every event.

Its the great games for eternal losers.

And so you support a Premiership team I presume.

You just watch the Olympics from here, it's not just about the sports itself it's the country in a world showcase. Which is why we will unswervingly cock the entire thing up.

Have a look at the 'Birds Nest' stadium that China have built for 100,000 people and then look at that pile of poured concrete that London is having to seat 55,000:

Also the aquatic centre (the baths):
