Brown 6 Trys to do to much when there are easier options available

Porter 6 Unlucky to hit the bar and unlucky to get injured from a reckless challenge

5 - Not much to do, when he did he didn't look convincing or dominating. Poor goal by them too

7 - Alright. Seemed strong enough to me.

8 - Probably best overall performance, stayed strong and didn't back down to that Evans idiot.

7 - Good. I can see why he's regarded highly enough, I think he's got more potential though. I think our defence is strong enough now.

Robson
5 - Only good at running in straight lines. Not strong enough on the left, and his crossing was pretty poor.

Tinkler
4 - His days are numbered.

Sweeney
6 - Took a nasty blow to the head, which led to frustration; however justified it was, it reflected in his game, which wasn't great.

Humphries
5 - I see what Wilson means by "earning your place" as opposed to expecting it. Will there be a place for him when Liddle and Boland arrive?

Brown
7 - Good performance, just didn't have the good crosses. Showed a certain flair in the second half that reminded me of Boyd; I hope he gets his preseason form back.

Porter
5 - Didn't seem to care. I kept a close eye on him after reports from Macclesfield of him not being committed; even the crossbar shot early on didn't seem to encourage him. He can do better, and I hope he does, because on top form he's top 3 in the league for his position. He was cut short obviously, but I can only go on what I saw.

E Williams
6 - He's an attacking midfielder, not a striker. Not anymore, anyway. Shame really, but he just seemed to forget his role sometimes.

6 - I need to see more of him to judge the lad. Amazing pace, sloppy challenges.

7 - Bring him back into the middle 4! Is it only me that remembers his dead ball capabilities?

6 - Good goal, but a bit of an unknown otherwise. Better than Humpty or Tinks, though.

Dimi - 6 One save, pucked the ball out once
Dazzler - 8 Head and shoulders above the rest, the only one with any urgency. Pity he's urgent to get away.
Nelse - 6 Lost more headers than I've seen in a game for ages.
Clark - 6 One footed all afternoon.
Robson - 5 Couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo
Humps - 4 Poor, needs a kick up the arse.
Tinks - 4 Too slow
Sweens - 7 Getting back to where he should be, at least he puts his head/foot in.
Brown - 6 Lightweight
Porter - 7 Would have scored eventually if not for his injury
Willo - 5 Doesn't look any better than he did last season. Cheers Taff, shut the door etc.
