Fev looks decent because he's not playing out of position as holding midfielder. Compare Hunter to Fev for what's required of that role.
Campbell looks shite because he's not a winger or wide midfielder he should be playing off Mani D. Same for Joe Grey and Mancini. All working hard but not being used to their full potential imo.
Surely as Madine gets closer to the team we're going to introduce a winger or at least get Fergy further up the pitch more often?

thing is at the moment most fans really want sarll to succeed due to his personality. however he seems to be doing his best to do the opposite by the style of football he seems to want to play. still feel its an overreaction to what he has seen out of pools sides in recent seasons. would not be the first manager in the game to have done this by a long way. really have any of the players we had prior to him improved apart from possibly their fitness. or have the new ones done anything better than what they have done before.

I'd say we've got more quality in the squad than in the last few seasons, but that's based on the new players recent records certainly not on what they've shown so far. Hopefully a bit less chasing around like headless chickens and more composure will bring out better.

Snarll is expecting Slog to get the midfield running.

And that lad will trust me. Quality player when he is 100% match fit.

but have we if you compared this seasons side to the one 12 months back before the injuries kicked in. its just we have a bit more strength in depth where the loss of charman and dodds have not affected us like losing dodds and mancini proved to be.

I honestly dont think DS will play Madine and Mani D up top with each other either sadly - we need the wingers and wing backs to make that work. I feel we have signed Campbell to replace Mancini but need to play them both and then got a midfield packed with defensive lads. Just need to find a system and rythm of play that works. Also need wingers (which by sounds of things one is due in). Hoping Sloggett is the pivotal piece and he can get the ball further forwards and link us to Campbell and Grey like we saw yday.

Think Madine would make a impact sub after manni has done an hour.

DS mentioned a winger coming in and also sounds like we looking at others.

perhaps Henry is now fit and getting himself a contract sorted out.

with what we have atm including injuries he would be a welcome addition in the front 3 .

Cant see a player who has spent time in the championship coming here to be an impact sub.
