Pools 1 - 1 Wealdstone (actual score)
Pools 1.72 - 0.40 Wealdstone (xG)
Pools 52% - 48% Wealdstone (posession)
Pools 5 - 1 - Wealdstone (shots on target)
Pools 9 - 4 Wealdstone (shots in total)

Based on those stats we were unfortunate to lose. Matt Taylor (Wealdstone manager) described it as their best performance of the season.

The beauty of National league TV I could watch most of the match after the event.

Pools pressed high and Wealdstone did well to get through it, without creating anything at all, bar the chance that Stevo gifted to them.

The two subs of Stevo and Campbell at HT were correct, both players being wasteful, sloppy and not really winning any tackles or second balls.

Interesting to read people describe this as the worst they've watched in decades, we need to be worried etc. It's a game that we could have and perhaps should have won. Except the mistake, we restricted Wealdstone to no other shots on target.

It's games like 7-1 loss away to Gateshead that I would expect people to describe us as the worst performance in decades.

Sarll himself described it was garbage, I do agree there was alot of room for improvement, let's hope Sarll can make that improvement today vs Woking.

if we do win today that will not help us in our home games. many teams including us have been different propositions away than they are at home where they look a completely different team.

We couldn’t beat a team of part timers on Saturday who probably travelled up to the game on Saturday so I fear the worst today even though the Pools players travelled down yesterday.

they are not all part timers now but that isn,t the point. others have travelled up on the day and won at the vic. doing things correct like we do spending more on travelling down the day before never seemed to have worked in the past with our lousy away record.
